Does God Create People to Destroy?!?!

My Belief

I believe Salvation is available to all. Men have the free will to choose God or not to choose God. Either way that a man chooses, God will have his will done and his Glory will be shown. Lets pretend God/Jesus is a Jetliner Airplane. Everybody in the world is on board. The people on board have the ability to choose their seat, but God is in control of the aircraft. Jesus is coming over the PA telling all, that 1st class Salvation seats are available. You have the free will to decide if you will get up out of your coach seat of damnation to go sit in the a 1st class seat of salvation. If you refuse long enough to get up and move to the front, God will tighten your seat belt or harden your heart so you will never get up. God will show his power by blessing you or destroying you. Either way it is your choice. God blessed David and no one could stand against Israel – God's Glory was shown. God cursed and ultimately destroyed Pharaoh and the Egyptians – God’s Glory was also shown.

Scripture

John 3:16
16"For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son,[a] that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.

Proverbs 16:9
9 In his heart a man plans his course,

but the LORD determines his steps.

Application for Life

Do not harden your heart! Show love to everyone around you. Tell everyone that if you harden your heart and reject Christ long enough, you may lose your opportunity. Do all you can to spread the word of God to everyone that will listen. Be a friend to them, love them, and do your best to coax them into moving to first class.

  1. God created us so He could have a relationship with us. We are the ones who screwed it up. Throughout the Bible, we see God extending an olive branch, trying to show us how to restore a relationship with Him. In the Old Testament, over and over He showed us how we could be free, if we just obeyed certain rules, and every time we showed we were incapable of that. Then He did the one thing that He could do to restore our relationships with Him despite our inabilities to be perfect - He gave his son to us to pay for our sins (past, present and future) so we could have a right relationship. He continues to offer this to each and every one of us who will accept the gift. The last thing He wants is for any of us to be destroyed.

  2. Lets not forget the verses that talk about God choosong to help some and not help others.

John 6:44 (NKJV) "No one can come to Me unless the Father who sent Me draws him; and I will raise him up at the last day."
It appears there is the option some will not be drawn if not then it would have said God draws them all to me

Proverbs 16:4 (NKJV) The LORD has made all for Himself, Yes, even the wicked for the day of doom.

God had given some to doom

Romans 9:21 (NKJV) Does not the potter have power over the clay, from the same lump to make one vessel for honor and another for dishonor? We are the clay and God will let some of us be for dishonor.
