My Belief
I believe Salvation is available to all. Men have the free will to choose God or not to choose God. Either way that a man chooses, God will have his will done and his Glory will be shown. Lets pretend God/Jesus is a Jetliner Airplane. Everybody in the world is on board. The people on board have the ability to choose their seat, but God is in control of the aircraft. Jesus is coming over the PA telling all, that 1st class Salvation seats are available. You have the free will to decide if you will get up out of your coach seat of damnation to go sit in the a 1st class seat of salvation. If you refuse long enough to get up and move to the front, God will tighten your seat belt or harden your heart so you will never get up. God will show his power by blessing you or destroying you. Either way it is your choice. God blessed David and no one could stand against Israel – God's Glory was shown. God cursed and ultimately destroyed Pharaoh and the Egyptians – God’s Glory was also shown.

Application for Life
Do not harden your heart! Show love to everyone around you. Tell everyone that if you harden your heart and reject Christ long enough, you may lose your opportunity. Do all you can to spread the word of God to everyone that will listen. Be a friend to them, love them, and do your best to coax them into moving to first class.

Only Jesus...the rest is sprinkles...
My Belief
Let me say this LOUD and CLEAR, ONLY JESUS MATTERS. The Christian faith is divided over zillions of little controversies. We fight about everything! We fight about how old the earth is, is everybody saved, does Israel matter anymore, are the end times near etc… These are all important topics that God gives us in his word to teach us how to live and what purpose he has for us, but they ARE NOT the main thing. Jesus alone with NO help from you, is the most important topic. His free gift of salvation is the only thing that keeps you from the justice you deserve. For all have fallen short and only Jesus can bridge the gap for you.
Scripture
Ephesians 2:8-9
8. For it is by grace that you have been saved, through faith - and this is not from yourselves it is the gift of God - 9. not by works, so that no one can boast.
John 3:16
16. For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whosoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.
Application for Life
DON’T fight about all the stuff in the Bible. Try to learn it, Try to Live it, but always realize you will never get all the answers while you are here on earth. Keep an open mind, pray for guidance, and realize the one hard concrete truth we have is Jesus Christ. Study the rest, but hold on to that truth. Jesus plus nothing equals salvation! While the rest does matter, it is only sprinkles in comparison to debt Jesus paid for us.

What is your American Idol?
My belief
My America idol was, and sometimes still is, my career. Idols are not necessarily little wood or metal statues that you pray to or worship. In our fast pace Global culture, idols are anything you put in front of God. This could be your career, your toys, your hobbies or even your spouse and kids! When you are honest with yourself, is there something in the gap between you and God besides Jesus? Do we say God I give you everything, except for, as long as, or under the follow conditions? What is it that the Lord has given you that you are not willing to let him take away?

Job 1:21
21 and said:"Naked I came from my mother's womb, and naked I will depart. The LORD gave and the LORD has taken away may the name of the LORD be praised."
Apply it to life
Am I willing to quit my job for the Lord? Will I praise God if my wife or child's life is cut short? If I become disabled or suffer a handy cap will I feel sorry for myself? Do I take all that I am and leave it at the foot of the cross?

Get Some "Dirty" Friends
My belief
Go get some Dirty Friends! It is great to have a good group of "churchy" friends with whom you can rely upon and stay accountable to, but that is NOT our main job. GO get your hands dirty! We are here to be a friend and share the Gospel with the LOST not the saved. Have your good solid group of believer friends and then go hang out with the sex, drugs, and rockin-roll people. How will the truly lost in this world ever find the "life boat" of salvation unless you go and be their friend?

Matthew 9:11-12
11 When the Pharisees saw this, they asked his disciples,"Why does your teacher eat with tax collectors and sinners. 12 On hearing this, Jesus said, "It is not the healthy who need a doctor, but the sick.
How this applies to life?
Don't go get some worldly, secular friends and then start bashing them with the Bible. If you do, you won't be friends for long. Just be a friend to them no matter what they do. When they take the low road you be friendly and take the high road. All the while, you should be praying for God's love and mercy to touch there hearts. Pray that God will give you an opportunity to share the hope you have in Christ with your lost friends. You don't have to debate or bash them, you just have to let them know where you stand!

Relationship not Religion
My Belief
A big issue I have with religion is simply, religion. Nowhere in the Bible does it talk about this organized business call religion. The Bible’s main story is the RELATIONSHIP that God wishes to have with each one of us. The Bible talks about a separation between God and man due, to our sin, but that a holy, merciful, loving God has made a way through his son (Jesus Christ) for us to be reconnected to him. This reconnection is described in the Bible and has nothing to do with the BIG business of the modern church. I am not saying that all churches are bad, but I am saying that a lot of them are not in it to spread and teach God’s word to all. They are in it to make MONEY and be PRESTIGIOUS. God does not care if we are in a church to praise him, or sitting in the middle of a field with believers worshiping him. God’s church is us, not buildings. He does not need our mega million dollar buildings, expensive sound equipment, or fancy lighting systems to be connected to him. He does not need us to twist and interpret his scripture. He just wants a relationship with him. He asks us to love him, worship him, and live our lives for him. This is a vertical relationship with our Savior, not a man made religion.
What does the Bible say?
Prov 8:17 “I love those who love me, And those who seek me diligently will find me.”
Rom 5:8 “But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.”
John 3:16 “For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.”
How does it Apply to our lives?
I think this is critical to our lives. Instead of running through our daily lives trying to follow rules set up by religious institutions, let God’s word lead you in your search to be closer to him. Read God’s word for yourself and let yourself draw close to him. Let him teach you and guide you in your life as oppose to letting someone else tell you what the Bible says. Stop playing church and start living for and with our God who wants to Love you.
